PRESERVED
NATURAL VELVET IN TIME WILL FALL OFF THE ANTLERS!
That’s
right, regardless of the method incorporated to preserve natural velvet, in
time it will come off. The amount of time the preservation will last is
anybody’s guess. At Pioneer Taxidermy we no longer preserve the natural
velvet, instead we offer reproduction velvet. We guarantee it not to come
off
unless
scraped off and it will never attract insects as natural velvet might.
Reproduction velvet can be produced to the exact coloration of the natural
velvet of your trophy. To enable us to do this we must have pictures of the
natural velvet or the antlers with the natural velvet still attached. We can
also reproduce any abnormalities, defects, or natural rubbing you trophy
had, from your pictures. Reproduction velvet is not inexpensive, but what
will your natural velvet trophy look like in the future? And what will it
cost then to repair it? |
