Arizona has consistently produced some of the most magnificent bull elk to be found anywhere in the world. Bull elk are large powerful animals. At Pioneer Taxidermy we accurately sculpt in the muscle structure consistent with the pose selected. The brisket is fully sculpted to provide extra dimension to the mount. The texture of the nose pad is remodeled and the interior of the nostrils are meticulously airbrushed with a variety of colors to recapture the natural hues they had in life. The mouth interior of a bugling bull is reproduced down to the bristly papillae, and then airbrushed to its natural coloration.
